California's AB 723 (effective January 1, 2026) asks real estate professionals to disclose when a listing image has been digitally altered in a way that changes how the property actually looks — for example, adding furniture that isn't there, removing objects, or changing physical features of the home.
We built Parallax Listings to sit on the right side of that line.
We move the photo. We don't change the property.
We take the photographs your photographer already delivered and apply a depth-estimating process that adds subtle, cinematic motion — the same room, the same light, the same furniture, gently brought to life. The property you see in our motion stills is the property in your original photo.
What that means, specifically
- We work only from your original listing photos.
- We add gentle, depth-based motion — the room appears to breathe, not transform.
- We don't add rooms, furniture, or features that aren't in the photo.
- We don't remove power lines, clutter, or anything else from the scene.
- We don't generate views that don't exist or change the home's layout, size, or condition.
The property in the motion still is the property in your photograph.

Because we don't alter the physical features of the home, our standard motion stills are designed not to trigger AB 723's alteration-disclosure requirement. That said, two honest notes:
